To be a hopeful romantic is not naivety. It is a quiet act of courage.
It means you have loved, and it cost you something. You remember the weight of it — the way it felt to be seen, and the way it felt when that disappeared. And yet you have not closed the door.
The hopeful romantic believes that ordinary moments carry extraordinary meaning. A song heard through a wall. A light left on. The specific way someone says your name. These things matter. They always mattered.
It is choosing vulnerability when experience has taught you otherwise. It is finding beauty in what's fleeting. It is holding memory without being imprisoned by it.
G7ee makes music for this feeling. For the person who has been through the dark and still reaches for something luminous. For the one who lost and still believes in love — not despite the loss, but because of it.

A boy, a record, and a living room. Bought his first album — Donna Summer's MacArthur Park. Nights spent dancing with his sister Christine. Casey Kasem's American Top 40 on the radio every week without fail. The golden era of music became part of his architecture.

Breakthrough
Six chords. No roadmap. A songwriter born. During a three-month pandemic lockdown in Kuala Lumpur, George picked up a guitar for the very first time. Self-taught. Six chords. Within a short span he was composing original songs. His first — Life's A Mystery — was never released. Many more followed.

Growth
Gold Coast. The craft refined. Returning home to Gold Coast, Australia, George began collaborating with co-producer Keefe West — bringing professional studio production to what were already deeply felt compositions. Folk, Indie, Pop, Reggae, Deep House — no genre was off limits.

First release. The world hears G7ee. Because of You — released on YouTube. The first song shared publicly after three years of writing, composing and refining over 200 original songs.
